Margareta Wahlstrom is the key inspiration for the founding of Glow Red. a global network for the promotion of women leaders in the Movement. Margareta gives a fascinating presentation on the development of Glow Red, culminating in the election, for the first time in history, of a female majority o the Governing body of IFRC. Margareta was a USG at the Federation 1995-2000. She then moved to the UN and became Assistant Secretary General for Disaster Risk Reduction. In 2017, Margareta was elected President of the Swedish Red Cross.
